Studios and Ghostbusters Packs - Out Now!

Today we’re proud to launch not one, but two incredible new content packs! Both the spectacularly cinematic Studios Pack, and the spookily good Ghostbusters are out now for Planet Coaster: Console Edition. You can purchase and download them today across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One and take your parks to the next level.

Offering new rides, new blueprints, and all manner of props, scenery, animatronics, and construction pieces – these are two packs you won’t want to miss out on to help expand your entertainment empires like never before.

In the Ghostbusters Pack, you’ll find the ultimate tribute to the 1984 film. The pack boasts a brand new, story-driven scenario and employs the talents of Dan Aykroyd and William Atherton, who voice their roles as iconic Ghostbusters’ co-founder, Dr. Raymond Stantz, and Special Agent Walter Peck. With authentic props such as the lovingly detailed Proton Packs, a towering Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, and full-sized ECTO-1 as well as authentic music and sound effects, you can relive and recreate a classic from the ground up.

As for rides, the Ghostbusters Pack brings a Slimer-helmed, kid-friendly ghost train, as well as a mobile shooting gallery where guests blast ghostly targets – you can even give it a go yourself! The Studios Pack, meanwhile, contains a transport ride for backlot tours, a full-motion simulator controlled by a robotic arm, and a perilous drop tower. Use each ride’s pre-made blueprint, or build your own version of it piece-by-piece.

The Studios Pack is a thrilling tribute to the silver screen, featuring rides that seem straight out of an action movie, stunt-filled scenes you can customise yourself, and all the materials needed to bring your favourite films to life.

This includes cameras, clapperboards, and film crews to create behind-the-scenes areas; animatronic zombies, mummies, and sharks for intense scares; and vehicles such as tanks, choppers, and SWAT vans you can add crashing animations to, making them perfect for stunt show extravaganzas. Build the ultimate backlot tour and bring the blockbuster experience home with three new rides, almost 400 new scenery pieces, and nearly 100 new blueprints that put guests in the heart of the action.
